So, because you don’t really know precisely all the nutrients in a food, you can only have a good guess and keep in mind which food treatments low the nutritional value and in which extent.

What do you do with that lack or precise information?

You just put as many odds in your favor by consciously eating according to these guidelines :

- Many prepared foods display nutritional values based on added vitamins or other nutrients that are not necessary useful that way, so they are often in the list of ingredients for reasons of marketing.

- Some of those added vitamins are even bad for your health such as vitamin A added to cereals, which increases the risk of osteoporosis, especially if there is a deficiency of vitamin D.

- Organic better than non-organic Organic food is not only intended to not have the chemicals that causes many undesirable health conditions but is also much more nutritious.

- Freshly harvested better than not so fresh

- Ripen in the tree or plant is better to have the most nutrients possible as the tree/plant is still adding nutrients from the soil to the fruit or vegetable.

- Besides being pasteurized or cooked, bottled, canned or boxed juices from concentrate have more fluoride and other chemicals from the tap water they are reconstituted with. At least those not from concentrate are not that bad.

- Green house grown even if not organic is better than ordinary pesticide-laden food. For example, sometimes I get tomatoes, spinach and cucumbers grown in green house when I don’t find the organic ones

- Some vegetables that are harvested young require less or no pesticides to be grown. So non-organic baby spinach is often better the regular spinach.

- Local harvested organic food is better than imported organic same kind of food for freshness and economic-ecological reasons.

- Many foods and especially spices are irradiated supposedly for the “safety of consumers” and for the sterilization of seeds that agencies don’t want you to cultivate. That exposure to radiation destroys much of the nutritional value and it is also bad for your health http://www.ccnr.org/food_irradiation.html

- Sprouted seeds have more enzymes than raw or cooked same seeds.

- Vegetable sprouts (such as broccoli) as more nutritious than the ordinary vegetables.

- Raw food in general has more enzymes and nutrients than cooked food. So, because of the more enzymes the need for proteins decreases. Some scientists say that because some nutrients are more available after cooking it means that a cooked product (such as carrots) is more nutritious. That’s a touchy subject because like in this case the higher glycemic index of the cooked carrot makes it less desirable for other reasons. In the case of certain herbs we do need cooking to get the elements we desire out of the herb, but with ordinary food I tend to be in favor of raw eating. I’m not going to go deeper with this controversial subject, so just happily follow your heart.

- Intentionally fermented foods such as sauerkraut, natural pickles or nut cheeses are much more digestible and so they are more nutritious as a consequence. So this is a good way to eat more raw food with more availability of nutrients.

- Microwaving is the worst kind of cooking you can make in terms of destroying the nutritious value and creating very harmful toxins.

- Slow cooking is better than fast cooking.

- Frying can cause a lot of free radicals and many health problems as a consequence due to fat oxidation and higher cooking temperature. More details later.

* Frying with coconut oil or with organic ghee (clarified butter) is much safer as those fats are much more resisting the oxidation cause by heat.

- Roasting is not the best thing to do with animal products or other foods either because of the denaturation of proteins and starches, which can make them toxic even if we don’t experience immediate discomfort.

For example, acrylamide is used as an industrial chemical in mining and grouting. It was only discovered to be present in food in 2002. It forms as a side effect of the frying, roasting or baking of starchy foods, such as chips and crisps.

There are concerns about its cancer-causing and DNA-damaging effects in humans. It has been found to cause tumours in laboratory rats and is also neurotoxic in humans and may affect reproductive processes.

No specific limits for its consumption have yet been set by the EU, but food manufacturers are being urged to reduce levels and keep them as low as possible.

- On the other hand there is the Maillard reaction including caramelization, glycation and other effects of cooking mixtures such as sugars with fats, sugars with proteins or with starches. It not decreases the nutritional value but increases the presence of toxic waste-products.

- Dehydration is much better than cooking but not as good as eating fresh. In the case of sweet fruits particularly, the glycemic index increases and so it may have an undesirable effect on blood sugar which will affect some people more than others. For example those who suffer from Candida, hypoglycemia, diabetes etc.

- Canned foods are not only less nutritious because the enzymes are purposely destroyed to increase shelf-life , but also most of the time they contain substances that are undesirably toxic such as sulphites.

- Food additives such as artificial coloring and flavors are so evidently undesirable that I almost didn’t write about it. There are so many problems and health conditions caused by those additives, so at least, look for the foods that are prepared without them. Even some so called natural ingredients are undesirable, but that’s the subject for a whole book.

- Eating food that is prepared by a consciously happy person will make that food be more beneficial and probably delicious too. So, it’s not just about the ingredients or the treatments but about how much love vs stress brought that food to your plate.

- Some fruits and vegetables, when are not organically grown, are a reason so many workers get very serious diseases including deformities in children and cancers even is the consumers don’t get sick. For conscientious reasons we can avoid consuming for example non-organic pineapples or tomatoes.

- Some fruits and vegetables are produced in inhumane conditions of exploitation so that is another reason to do informed choices such as buying fair-trade foods. Personally I don’t buy unhealthy fair-trade foods either such as sugar.

- Adding some spices and herbs to your food can make it easier to digest also, so it is not only about avoidance of toxins but about conscious eating.

- Mixing foods while cooking can cause the Mailard reaction as I said before but even mixing raw foods can cause digestive problems. So, without getting too bored with your food, find your subjective balance between simplicity an pleasure. You can learn about food combining, mono-meals or just happily accept the possible consequences (as like when I go to raw potlucks I pay the consequences but have a lot of pleasure on the other hand).

Conclusion:

Now you may better know the difference in the quality of the produce that compose what you eat and you know a bit more about the effects of processing, stoking, irradiating, refining, caning, cooking, frying, microwaving, caramelizing, fermenting, sprouting, dehydrating etc. You can make more conscious choices about what you put in your mouth.

The real nutritional value of food cannot be so simply determined just by a laboratory analysis but you can feel it subjectively, when with practice you become more sensitive which is the only thing that counts.

I wrote this article as I felt a limit of patience about all that religious naivety that makes people unaware of what they’re dealing with when they adhere or remain in a religious belief that takes Moses as a prophet of the same God that Jesus called “my heavenly father”.

Why am I writing this?

Because I want to be part of the change to have a more peaceful world and I believe that ignorance of what triggers violence the most is the main reason why so much sadness and cruelty keeps manifesting in our lives.

I imagine that most of you have noticed that religious thinking has played an important role in violent behavior. If it is not the case, maybe this article is useless as a following step into resolving the problem.

It would be too long to go on explaining in detail why wars and cruelty are especially nourished by moral and religious thinking. For now I’ll only assume that you have noticed that the most important violent behaviors that we see in the news are motivated by purposes of domination, greed and religious beliefs.

What is particularly my concern is the society closest to me in which violence is very present even if it is not so flagrant as war violence. Even the most subtle verbal violence has the same roots, fear of punishment and expectation of reward.

When we understand and dismantle the main motivation for a huge part of that violence there will be more reasons to celebrate.

Most of the populations including some of you, readers, ignore the traps that are seeded in the religious thinking which you may not even notice that moralistic judgments are part of the puppeteer strings that affect our behavior in a way that we unconsciously become part of the problem.

For those who are familiar with some spiritual paths it is known that being present in the now is such as desirable state of mind. And for that experience of presence to be, the monkey-mind chattering has to be stopped.

Moralistic judgments are obstacle to experience inner peace and being active part of the solutions. Resisting emotionally to whatever is, is a waste of time and accelerates physical and mental ageing at the same time we remain actively or passively part of the problem.

We have all being somehow, domesticated in a way that we learned to think in terms of good and bad, normal and abnormal, just or unjust in a very narrow way and  we lose perspective of present needs and living with more joyful values and priorities than avoiding evil and being in a protective or defensive mode.

The point I want to make is that the most joyful and healthy attitude in life is to experience love, forgiveness and lightheartedness that we have lost because we bought into the ideology that we can determine for others what is good or bad for them and that by telling them or thinking I a righteous way we can improve something.

We may think we know what is best but it will makes us resist to accept reality as it is to remain inspired by pure love.

When Christians and Non-Christians experience judgmental thinking and moralistic judgment, that is especially ingrained and rooted especially in the values, rules and reasoning in most of the Old Testament, especially the books of Moses and his concept of God.

Most people who know enough about Jesus of Nazareth’s life and teachings, think of them as inspiring and so Christians become very zealous about that.

What most Christians and general public don’t know is that Jesus (as described in the New Testament)  as well as Paul the apostle were completely opposite to Moses teachings and regulatory policies.

In my opinion, a loving Christian, radically engaged in the principles of unconditional love, forgiveness and presence, cannot keep his-her attention in Moses ideology at all.

When we conveniently adhere to Jesus teachings and accept some of the values from the OT, such as moralistic judgments, revenge , condemnation, or whatever non-loving thinking, they unknowingly fall in a trap that they don’t even perceive as such. Especially because they are not alone at all, and because most of the populations think the same way, they think they are right.

People can be right, but they are destructively right, unhealthily right, and unhappily right.

When you notice how intentional was to seed the (unloving) moralistic judgment into our minds for governing the people and you understand the effect of it in our consciousness, emotions and health, you will also find out that we cannot mix the OT paradigm with the one of the NT without losing the pureness, beauty and benefits of the latter.

So, you can notice the contrast between the message that most of the people agree with, from Jesus and the one of Moses that keeps influencing even our own behaviors to the extent of our fears still have control on our consciousness.

Take in account that at the time of the Old Testament, they believed in the existence of many gods but the followers of Moses were forced to worship just one.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (or God and Jehovah)

Did you have enough to understand that YHWH is not the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent consciousness, he is not pure Love and he is not even the God of everyone, he’s just a big egocentric entity, real or just imagined.

I want to emphasize that “Jesus heavenly father” is not Jehovah as it is evident for those who read the attributes of “Jesus God”

 BTW, this Jehovah god is the same that Muslims call Allah and the severe and cruel ways that they may accept, come from the laws of Moses, such as the Sharia law, which is not in the Quran. Much of Sharia law is derived from the Hadith, which was written by Muslim scholars.  The Hadith was the scholars’ interpretation of what they thought Mohammed wished for his followers.

 Before showing the evil aspects of “The God of Moses” I’ll quote the chapter 3 of the second letter of Paul to the Corinthians in the New Testament so you can see that Paul, the man responsible for the spreading of the original Christianity was saying already at that time that the ministry of Christ was totaly opposite to the ministry of the Old Testament.

!”1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

 4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life…

The Greater Glory of the New Covenant

7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

Now, a little example of Jesus perspective on his heavenly father…

Paul affirms that love for others is a complete fulfillment of God’s Law for us. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14

And how do we demonstrate our love for others? How do we put this love into action? By always treating others as we would like to be treated.

TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. “So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12

“8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love”. 1 John 4:8

“For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. “But if you do not forgive men, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. Matthew 6:14-15

“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing hthe light of ithe gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:4

Notice the immense contrast between Jehovah with all the “evil you’re going to read” and “the Spirit of the Lord in which there is freedom”.

So the all sinful abominable being in the OT (YHWH) and the Spirit of love (Jesus heavenly father) in the NT are not the same character AT ALL.

 Remember that Moses and the Israelites believe in the existence of many gods but worshiped one, so it means that YHWH is not The Creator but just another god, their god.

The NT was not found in Hebrew and the words I found in my Greek version were κυριος (Kyrios = Lord) or θεος (theos = god), not YHWH or anything like it.  Only translations in English or in hebrew from the Greek may use the tetragrammaton. There are some scholars that theorize that the words  κυριος (kirios) and θεος (theos) blurred the original distinction between the Lord God and the Lord Christ, but I believe that a distinction should be made between those two words and the Hebrew יהוה‎.

A bit of information about Satan 

There is a divergence in what the Bible says about Satan. The Old Testament differs from the New Testament; in that the Old Testament never mentions any angel rebelling against God. In the New Testament, however, it talks about the rebellious angels being chained in a certain part of hell, until the end of time. Here are two examples of the contradiction between the Old and New Testament. In the sixth verse of Jude, the fallen angels were said to be chained after they rebelled by taking human wives, in Genesis 6. But in Genesis 6, this wasn’t mentioned. Even though Satan is said to be already bound, he is chained again “for 1,000 years” in Revelation 20:2.

So in some books of the OT Satan is one of the fallen angels referenced in Genesis 6, a rebellious evil doer, always opposing God. But in other books, like Job, Satan is a tester of people’s free will, doing only as God wants him to do.

The name “Satan” originally comes from the Hebrew verb “satan” that means “to obstruct” or “to oppose.” Because the Old Testament was written in Hebrew, the word “satan” also can mean in general “someone who obstructs.” Many times, a verse that was seen as a reference to Satan actually meant “a satan” or “an obstructer,” “an enemy” or “an adversary.”

Satan became the ruler of this world and the prince of the power of the air (John 12:31; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2). He is an accuser (Revelation 12:10), a tempter (Matthew 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:5), and a deceiver (Genesis 3; 2 Corinthians 4:4

“And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him.” John 13:2

 And a quote to prof that Jehovah doesn’t refer to the “Source of everything”, the word god in the OT is a tittle given to a certain entity :

“Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “`In the pride of your heart you say, “I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas.” But you are a man and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god. Ezek 28:2 

 So, now that it is a bit more clear that the spirit that drives the New Testament is not the same as the one of the Old Testament, see by your-selves the shocking contrast…

(Note: The biblical distinction between the “chosen people” and the gentiles is based on religion rather than ethnicity. Thus when Jesus of Nazareth refers to gentiles as “dogs” in Matthew 15:22-27 and Mark 7:26-28, he is demonstrating a theological prejudice.)

THE DARK SIDE OF JEHOVAH

Note: Two curious passages in the Bible seem to equate Jehovah and Satan.

The passages, which refer to the same event in the history of Israel [King David orders a census of the "chosen people"], are as follows:

The anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel andjudah. -II Samuel 24:1

And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. -/ Chronicles 21:1

Jehovah Is Darkness

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! To what end is it for you? The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his band on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it? -Amos 5:18-20

The Devil - (Greek ho diabolos) : Following the use in Job and Zechariah in the Septuagint this title, “the Accuser”, is ascribed to Satan 32 times in the New Testament. The three other uses of the word are for humans - Judas, and gossips.(Revelation 12:9).[7]

Beelzebub - (Greek Beelzeboul) : In Matthew 10:25, Matthew 12:24, Mark 3:22, and openly in Luke 11:18-19 there is an implied connection between Satan and Beelzebub (originally a Semitic deity called Baal, and referred to as Baal-zebul, meaning lord of princes). Beelzebub (lit. Lord of the Flies) has now come to be analogous to Satan.

The Wicked One - (Greek ho poneros[8]) : Matthew 13:19–”Then cometh the wicked one.” Matthew 6:13, 1 John 5:19. This title suggests that Satan is one who is wicked himself. Abrahamic religions generally regarded sin as a physical manifestation of opposition to God, and therefore evil; dissent only comes from the topic of ‘where does sin come from?’[citation needed]

Prince of this World - (Greek ho Archōn tou kosmou toutou,[9] Latin Rex Mundi) : inJohn 12:31 and John 14:30.

The Tempter - (Greek ho peirazōn[10]) : Matthew 4:3–”And when the tempter came to him.” Also, 1Thessalonians 3:5

A liar - (Greek psěustēs[11]) : John 8:44–”He is a liar and the father of it.”

Belial - (Greek Belial) : in 2 Corinthians 6:15 ”What agreement does Christ have with Belial?” may be a reference to the Devil, or to eating idol meats. In the Old Testament, rebellious people and nonbelievers are sometimes called ‘sons of Belial’. See also Deuteronomy 13:13 Judges 20:13 1Samuel 2:12 2Samuel 23:61Kings 21:10 2Chronicles 13:7

 So don’t feel I’m attacking anything else than misinformation and disinformation.

 You’ll probably want to verify by yourself all the information I’m sharing here.

 This article is just a little piece of significant information. I am willing to answer your questions if you have.

 With time, it is no longer uncommon to question some previously accepted ideas such as concerning the use of drugs for the treatment of illnesses or the use of vaccines for preventing them. So, if I’m right, in a few years everybody will say “of course that’s the way it is…”

 Part 1- The problems

We’ve been told that there is an AIDS pandemic ravaging the African population and that we should do something about it.

 This implies that thousands of Africans are dying from a sexually transmitted disease.

 Doing a deep research we notice some anomalies around this assumption, especially these facts:

      1- In the rich countries there is a population at risk of AIDS, which makes about 90% of the cases, that is composed of male homosexuals, drug addicts and hemophiliacs while strangely, in Africa everybody is said to be at risk, women and men equally.

     2- In some of those countries such as the US, the sexual behavior is much more liberal with more changing partners than in Africa, so if it was a sexually transmitted pandemic, “American women would be equally at risk”, especially after more than 28 years of spreading this disease. But it’s not the case!

 Why is this?

 The statistics behind that idea of pandemic are based on a series of assumptions that start with the Bangui definition of AIDS established by the World Health Organization for Africa and which doesn’t require blood test.

 The Bangui definition of AIDS used in Africa consists on these simple signs:

      1- Asthenia (weakness) 

     2 -10% loss of body weight for two months

     3- Diarrhea for more than a month 

     4- Fever for more than a month

     5- Persistent cough

 Three of these signs can be enough to diagnose AIDS in most of these countries

Aren’t you surprised?  You’re not alone

 You can “google” Bangui AIDS definition” or whatever you prefer to verify this information. Or even better, ask an African physician about that. Here is one PDF document on that www.vordenker.de/hiv/bangui.pdf

 In Tanzania, just one of these symptoms can be enough for a physician to declare AIDS if he thinks so.

 Several conditions, especially tuberculosis can cause those symptoms and they are common in Africa long time before the so called AIDS pandemic.

 “There is nothing new but a new label for old diseases”.

 It is not the sexual behavior but the underlying social, economic and environmental conditions that are causing this crisis.

 Poor harvests, rural poverty, migratory labor problems, urban crowding, ecological degradation, civil wars, domestic violence, the inhumane conditions of exploitation and mistreatment, lack of proper water, malnutrition,  famine, deficient sanitary conditions, the panicking propaganda and the fatal misdiagnosis imperil and destroy far more African lives than the ”allegedly widespread virus”.

 I make clear that there are people sick and dying, but that it is not because of the HIV virus and I’m not saying either that there are not sexually transmitted diseases, just that the AIDS definition is vague and dangerous.

Such a misdiagnosis becomes damnation if not a death sentence for many patients with all its implications. Think about it.

 Assuming many of them were diagnosed as having HIV with the use of tests, I’d like you to know that the pharmaceutical companies have disclaimers on the tests label saying that those tests are not intended to be accurate. You may want to read this sample label.

Why changing the focus?

The focus on the improbable cause of these deaths not only may keep us distracted from unarguable problems but could worsen the situation at large and the health of the patients for the following reasons.

     1- Besides that the very little probability that those patients are really infected with HIV, the antiretroviral treatments would cost 12 times the average African salary for each patient, and if subsidized they would compromise even more the African economy making the real conditions get worse.

     2- Assuming there were real victims of the HIV, if they were treated with the antiretroviral drugs they would get worse because the main drug that is used. AZT is extremely toxic, so much so that nurses have to use mask and gloves to handle the pills.

 I could keep giving you pages of information but you can do your own research about all the “whatifs” you may think about. But you’ve got the point so…

  We better find real solutions to unarguable problems rather than on an improbable cause.

 Now, take a deep sigh and here are some hints for the solutions

 Part 2 – Real solutions for real problems

Now that we realized something wasn’t really evident about the AIDS pandemic we need to be sagacious, curious, creative and inspired to find solutions and act accordingly.

 Let’s leave no room for doubts or assumptions. Keep asking and researching.

I want to emphasize that there are institutions and generous people that are doing already a lot of good for these people. My goal is to point out where corrections could be made by knowing all this.

 The first problem which we need to address is the emotional distress and desperation based partly on the ignorance of the resources that they have at hand and of their own potential as individuals.

 Underprivileged Africans need to be encouraged and supported to recover independence from unethical foreign and local interests that don’t care about the wellbeing of individuals.. They don’t need us to send food as much as they need to be reminded of who they are as creators of their own reality and that they can turn the tide of the crisis.

 This crisis we perceive is the sum of all the emotional distress of those who aren’t aware of their power within.

 So they need to recover faith and confidence in their own human nature, they need tools for inner freedom, they need care, love and playfulness, they need to trust their hearts and smile. They need tools for material autonomy as well. Those who are sick need to be respectfully and kindly touched and treated.

 They need to rely on their own material and human resources to eat better, to live better and to be healthier and wealthier instead of feeling powerless and sell their lives to inhumane corporations.

 In practical terms, for the social conditions they need to be supported for;

          -Spiritual support in a non invasive, non judgmental,  non doctrinal manner

          -Organizing mutual support groups     

          -Recreational programs 

          -Encouraging and helping their own elders to share their wisdom

          -Community traditional celebrations

          -Alternative economy such as barter and micro-credit

          -Libraries and ways to have access to information and use it responsibly (hopefully Internet)

          -Commissions to gather and keep their ancestral wisdom and knowledge of plants and nature.

          -Commissions to resolve their own problems such as housing and more desirable ways to get revenues

          -Social work and emotional-psychological help, including group therapies and other.

          -Tools for conflict resolution such as Non-Violent Communication for social and domestic problems.

          -Tools of self-improvement to empower individuals that want to make a difference

 For the health conditions and for prevention they can be provided with information about;

          -The internal conditions for illness and the real sources of health that they have at hand

          -How to organize their own “barefoot clinics”           

          -Alternative ways to improve soil fertility

          -Space efficient gardening systems

          -Companion plants to avoid the need for chemicals

          -Permaculture to improve efficiency and soil protection

          -Inexpensive watering systems

          -The wealth of knowledge from their own local traditions including their botany and herbal medicine

          -Nutritional information adapted to their environment and economy

          -Sprouting for availability of fresh foods

          -The importance and use of wild plants and weeds, which are more nutritious than anything else

          -Using indigenous grasses to consume the way we use wheat grass without the need of extractors nor imported seeds

          -How to get the most nutrition of each byte they get

          -Clever ways to get, purify and improve drinkable water

          -Clever sustainable ways to produce energy such as heat or electricity or simply replace the need of it

          -Using fermentation to increase the absorption of nutrients and to improve immune functions

          -Using clay and charcoal to detoxify, to relief digestive problems and to stop diarrheas

          -Using other natural means to treat illnesses such as the use of mold, which was traditionally used in different cultures for treating illnesses, wounds and infections

          -Natural and cheap means to health such as thermal treatments, mud treatments, water treatments available without the need of manufactured devices

          -Tools for emotional healing and resilience

          -Psychophysical practices such as yoga, meditation, Chicong, massage and other health and healing practices adapted to their culture and manners, which require just instruction and practice

          -Inexpensive oxidizing substances for treating malaria, dysentery, tuberculosis etc. that has been used successfully already in Africa such as hydrogen peroxide and sodium chlorite (MMS)

          -Information about the environmental problems that they need to resolve or stop

 Underprivileged from anywhere need to be kindly reminded that the answers have been within themselves and that they fell into the trap of the inhumane greedy interests.

 To stop the REAL PANDEMIC we need to focus on REAL SOLUTIONS such as the samples above.

 There is wisdom in nature and forces hidden in every human heart that need to be awakened so health and abundance are easily accessible

 How different is to focus on promoting health instead of treating illnesses!

For many years it has been a bedrock principal of neuroscience that all 100 billion of our brain cells exist at birth, that the adult human brain cannot grow new cells and that memory works by a rewiring of old brain brain cells rather than by growing new brain cells to record new data. As of 10/15/99 this is now in question. On that date Princeton neuroscientists Elizabeth Gould and Charles Gross published a study in Science dealing announcing their discovery of the daily growth of new brain cells in the adult macaque monkey brain. Using a chemical tracer, these researchers found a rim-like layer of stem cells over the ventricles deep within the macaques’ brain which produced a steady stream of new neurons. The new brain cells migrated up into the cortex at the surface of the brain and established synapses with older cells in the frontal lobes (where personality, planning, decision making and working memory are located) and in the parietal lobes (where visual recognition memory exists). They speculate that this ceaseless train of new brain cells enables the brain to imprint and store new memories in a continuous sequence much like supplying a video camera with fresh video cassettes. If true, then a supply of healthy neurons may exist for treatment of degenerative brain diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, if they could be channeled to the damages portions of the brain. Since the discovery has not yet been confirmed in human beings, no definite answers are possible now, but an exciting new area of research has been opened up.

Textbook Rewrite: Brain Cells Can Regrow

A Princeton study has added to mounting evidence for the brain’s ability to regenerate by showing, in adult monkeys, that new nerve cells are continually added to the cerebral cortex, the largest and most advanced part of the brain.

Elizabeth Gould and Charles Gross report in the current issue of Science that the formation of new neurons or nerve cells, neurogenesis, takes place in several regions of the cerebral cortex that are crucial for cognitive and perceptual functions. Their results strongly imply that the same process occurs in humans.

“People thought: If the cerebral cortex is important in memory, how could it change?” says Gross. “In fact the opposite view is at least as plausible: if memories are formed from experiences, these experience must produce changes in the brain.”

Scientists have observed neurogenesis in birds and rats for many years, but assumed that as evolution advanced and mental capacities increased, the brain supported less and less neurogenesis. Over the last decade evidence has accumulated for neurogenesis in several evolutionarily older parts of the brain such as the olfactory system and the hippocampus, which is believed to play role in memory formation.

“After the discoveries in the hippocampus”, says Gould, “most scientists remained convinced that adult neurogenesis was an anomaly and could not be found in the newer, higher parts of the brain. They believed, for example, that the brain relies on a stable structure for storing memories”.

The Princeton scientists found that the new neurons were formed in the lining of the cerebral ventricles, large fluid-filled structures deep in the center of the brain, and then migrated considerable distances to various parts of the cerebral cortex. This type of migration had never been seen before.

The study has major implications for theories about how the brain develops. In particular, it casts doubt on the notion that the all-important time for brain development is from zero to three years of age, and raises the likelihood that experiences through adolescence and adulthood can affect the physical structure of the brain.

For their experiments, Gould and Gross took advantage of the unique properties of a chemical known as BrdU. When cells are exposed to BrdU during cell division, the chemical becomes incorporated into the DNA of newly formed cells. The researchers injected BrdU into rhesus monkeys. Then, at intervals ranging from two hours to seven weeks, looked for evidence of the chemical in neurons in the cerebral cortex. In all cases, there were neurons with BrdU in their DNA, which showed that those cells had to have been formed after the BrdU injection.

Within the cerebral cortex, the researchers found neurogenesis in three areas: 1) the prefrontal region, which controls executive decision making and short-term memory; 2) the inferior temporal region, which plays a crucial role in the visual recognition of objects and faces, and 3) the posterior parietal region, which is important for the representation of objects in space.

Interestingly, there was no sign of neurogenesis in a fourth area, the striate cortex, which handles the initial, and more rudimentary, steps of visual processing.

Brain Cells Do Re-grow, Study Confirms

March 6, 2000 (Boston) — Here’s hope for those who fear they lost too many brain cells to youthful dissipation: Researchers at Cornell University have demonstrated that cells from an area of the brain essential for learning and memory can regenerate in a laboratory dish. In the future, the discovery might lead to strategies for replacing brain cells lost to diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

Until recently, conventional medical wisdom held that we are born with all the brain cells, or neurons, that we’ll ever have and when they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Over the last few years, though, researchers have shown that in at least one area of the brain, a region known as the hippocampus, there is continual turnover of cells throughout most of our lives.

In the latest study, Steven A. Goldman, MD, from Cornell University Medical College in New York City, and colleagues took samples of tissues from the hippocampus that had been removed from patients undergoing surgery to repair brain disorders. They were able to tease out cells from a certain area where populations of “seed,” or precursor, cells are found. The researchers were able to separate these precursor cells from mature cells, which can no longer divide. They were able to aid the cells in continuing to divide and grow.

Jack P. Antel, MD, and colleagues from McGill University in Montreal write in an editorial accompanying the study that this approach could ultimately lead to new strategies for repairing and restoring cells lost to diseases or trauma in the hippocampus, and perhaps other regions of the brain.

But in an interview with WebMD, Goldman cautions that “it’s a bit early in the game to think in practical terms of using these cells for transplantation purposes.”

Among the problems that need to be tackled, Goldman says, are how best to deliver these cells to the brain and ensure that they will survive in sufficient numbers after transplant, and how to direct them to the parts of the brain where they will do the most good.

Many researchers think that memory impairment associated with aging is caused by damage to the hippocampus brought on by lifelong exposure to stress hormones. Several studies have shown that elderly people and rats with significant and prolonged elevation of these stress hormones have smaller hippocampal regions and show declines in memory due to damage to the hippocampus.

“It’s a very interesting system,” says Ronald McKay, PhD, chief of the laboratory of molecular biology at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. McKay, who has previously demonstrated that reducing stress hormone levels in aged rats can restore the production rate of brain cells in the hippocampus, reviewed the current study for WebMD.

“The hippocampus has these cells … which are replaced throughout life from dividing cells, so that whole process of division, … maturation and death seems to be going on all the time in this structure.”

Although it’s tempting to think that seed cells could be grown in the lab to restore cells damaged by neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, much needs to be learned before such therapies are practical, Goldman and McKay say.

Instead, these precursor cells are likely to have their first uses in drug-testing labs, where researchers could explore whether specific drugs or combinations could be used to stimulate the growth of new brain cells within the hippocampus, Goldman says.

Conventional medical wisdom has held that people are born with all of the brain cells they will ever have, and once they are gone, they are permanently gone.

Now, however, scientists have found that cells in the region of the brain responsible for memory and learning are capable of being regenerated.

Science and Spirituality: How are your Heart and Brain connected to God?

Before exploring the brain’s unique role in connecting a human being to what many call God, it is essential to honor new scientific information about the human heart that identifies it as the very first connection point between the physical body and its Creator source.
Amazing recent evidence indicates that the heart begins to beat in the unborn fetus even before the brain is formed so it appears that the heart truly holds primary status as the initiator of human life. Even so, scientists have yet to discover what causes the human heart to automatically begin this essential « auto-rhythmic » beating function that grants us physical existence.
Although previously unknown, neuroscientists have now discovered that there are over 40,000 nerve cells (neurons) in the heart alone, indicating that the heart has its own independent nervous system sometimes called the brain in the heart. In addition, the heart has an electromagnetic energy field 5,000 times greater than that of the brain and this field can be measured with magnetometers up to 10 feet beyond the physical body. This provides support for the spiritual teachings that indicate we humans have energy fields that constantly intermingle with each other, enabling healing (or negative) thoughts to be extended and exchanged.
Since the heart’s energy field is greater than that of the brain’s, we presume that feelings and information sent from the heart to the brain can have a profound effect on the brain’s functions, introducing heightened intuitive clarity and increased feelings of well being. Gratefully, this welcomed state of balance or coherence between the heart and the brain eliminates stress and permits the personal condition we have called creativity as well as peace of mind!
Because this powerful coherence starts in each individual’s heart rhythms, the heart may be considered the conduit or vessel through which soulfulness, higher consciousness, or spiritual energies enter the human being at birth. This scientifically identified condition of heart coherence supports the teachings of many world religions that state the human heart is the seat of the soul. Spiritual teachings also suggest that it is humanity’s task to join together their individual coherent heart energies into one unified peaceful heart, one spiritually inspired healing intention.
To begin appreciating more about the brain’s role in supporting the heart energy intentions of love, imagine you are standing in a laboratory where scientists are showing you pictures of a human brain flashing on and off with speeding neuron impulses lighting up its many regions and innumerable activities. As you actually observe those uncountable neural light activities in the various brain areas are you wondering how this human brain was designed to function? Can you imagine that this brain cooperates with the heart in providing a light link with our Creator?
How do you feel as you watch this mysterious light activity in the brain? Is any part of you wanting to deny and disbelieve what you are seeing? Or do you feel a growing curiosity to know more about this brain and how it really works?
Do you feel willing to explore the idea that both the heart and the brain were actually created so humans could always know « their Maker? » Would you want your loving heart and fantastic brain to be healthy and connected with your Creator during physical life for essential spiritual guidance and support?
Fortunately, among the many scientific and technical discoveries recently made, there are several which have helped us identify the major purpose of the brain as a spiritual receptor of light, of God energy. Newly developing medical fields such as neurobiology, neurochemistry, and neuropsychology are using technical « imaging » equipment such as PET (positive emission tomography) and SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography) to identify various regions of the brain, their activities, and especially those frontal parts of the brain which must develop « God capacity. » And must immediately develop that spiritual capacity during the first critical months and years of childhood growth! At last science can join spiritual teachings in proving that humans have the capacity through coherent hearts and proper brain development to attain the mystical expression of feeling love, of knowing God.
What is absolutely vital to remember is that the soul’s energy connection with physical life is not fully formed at birth and is not fully accessible during the first few years thereafter. When a baby is born, its brain has just about 50% of the neurological connections it must have as an adult, and this rapid growth must occur in the next several years. This spiritual capacity must be developed by the constant infusion of light (heart love) from the mother and family if the brain’s normal physical growth is to be attained. Should this essential « growth fuel » be missing during its early months and years, the infant’s brain development will likely be curtailed by lack of this essential light, or love energy, causing a variety of serious repercussions.
Scientific reports are announcing that if the frontal lobes of a person’s brain are not properly developed by light and love at a young age then the resulting lack of light will probably cause a dysfunctional brain with a variety of possible physical, emotional and behaviour al problems. This apparently occurs because the brain contains both more primitive regions from earlier evolutionary development and more modern additions in the frontal lobes and cortex regions designed to operate on light. Indeed it is this lack of light that causes disruptions and imbalances in one or many regions of brain area activity. In recent years, newly created PET and SPECT brain scan equipment have helped those enlightened doctors dedicated to healing the brain assist individuals with epilepsy, Attention Deficit Disorder, injuries, innumerable emotional conditions and much more. Their work also discourages alcohol and drug abuse in teens and adults by showing images of their negative effects on the brain.
It is also believed that an increased amount of stress, from the chaotic nature of modern living, creates a toxic brain hormone called cortisol. It is deduced that if high cortisol levels are maintained in the brain over an extended period, certain critical brain areas can become totally devoid of neural activity. When neural activity falters, the brain’s light activity darkens in the frontal lobes and there is a decreased ability by the person to control aggression and regulate negative thoughts and feelings.
It is vital to grasp that the purpose of learning this information about the heart and human brain’s needs for light & love is not to focus on blaming mothers and families whose children are exhibiting negative behaviour and suffering from a lack of connection to their higher consciousness. Rather it is to finally understand that both the heart and the brain require light & love to attain spiritual connection to God. This is critically true during a human’s infancy phase of physical growth but also throughout its adult years thereafter.
Then, with this knowledge that we human beings were created to live with the constant fuel of light/love during physical life in both our hearts and our brains, we must educate ourselves and do everything in our power to fulfill our heart’s and brain’s ability to function properly. Health will be seen in a different way once scans of the brain’s interior condition and functioning reveal any damaged or unbalanced areas, and new approaches for rehabilitation can be applied. The long-standing question about whether heredity or environment is the most essential ingredient in human behaviour can be better understood through use of recent discoveries about the heart as well as new tomography scans and available brain imaging information not known in earlier decades.
Now is the time to profoundly understand what causes the human species to maintain heartfelt ethical attitudes and positive emotional behaviours and to discern what vital role both play in humanity’s spiritual development. We need to know the pattern from which we human beings were created, our present evolutionary status, and how we can best express that pattern in physical life. This may be the designated moment when we can be empowered to improve our loving behaviour toward all people, but especially babies and children. Many creative hearts and minds are needed to discover how we can correct our present negative personal and societal problems and develop a brighter future in which every person gains expression of the spiritual nature that is the human hallmark.
In the meantime, those of us with relationships to babies and children can read broadly about the heart and brain connection, discuss ways of parenting and teaching based on love and on what PET and SPECT photographs reveal about the brain’s incredible design. We can agree to implement deliberate changes for the good of all. Parents, day care individuals and centers, educators of public and private schools, home teachers, and every adult who relates to a child, represent an important link in the sharing of 21st century information about the heart and brain in human life.
We will also be drawn to explore the ways adults who have not had a light enriched heart and brain experience, themselves, can recover from various neural and electrical imbalances and even the stress-induced cortisol damage they may have endured. Surely this is the exciting threshold of a new era in natural healing, at the least, and an enormous spiritual expansion of human consciousness as we birth new generations of heart centered and brain-healthy children with telepathic and other unusual abilities.
Yes, this is an incredibly hopeful time! For we already have tools such as meditation and prayer, music and sound, nature and her innumerable health-giving products from the earth, and the current positive scientific and technical equipment to assist us. Our challenge now is not merely to stay informed about these many developments that can aid us, but to use them! And to implement them both individually and in our local and global community relationships. Peace is the prize. The challenge is whether we will accept our responsibility and earn this heart-sought prize both for ourselves and for our children.
As names like the Indigo children, the Crystal children, the children of Oz, etc., suggest, our human evolution is being upgraded by wise and loving souls returning to earth. While heart and brain exploration continues to enrich our understanding of ourselves as creations of God’s design, perhaps we will finally understand how identical we humans really are in our basic essence and then begin applying our extraordinary hearts and brains to accept each other as one family.
